I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Utah, specializing in the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders.
I help adults, parents, and teachers all over Utah with burnout, stress, depression, anxiety, parenting special needs youth, parenting blended families, chronic pain, chronic health issues, self-harm, intensive step-down care, and more.
I provide LGBTQ+ affirming and trauma-informed care.
When working with me, you receive the support you need to talk about the things you can’t talk about with anyone else. I will work with you to develop skills to decrease your symptoms and increase your quality of life.
My model of care utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which focuses on ways in which your thoughts may lead to actions that can contribute to problems – and on how you can address these problems by thinking or acting a little differently. CBT has been demonstrated to be an effective means of treating social and emotional symptoms using specific skills to reduce distress and improve relationships.
All sessions are conveniently provided online through a HIPAA compliant, secure platform (Simple Practice), which is available on your laptop or phone app.
Therapy with me is a safe place where you can be real about your life and receive support that takes your life experiences and goals into account.
I spent the first half of my career working with families and youth in hospitals, school, and intensive outpatient programs. For the past 15 years I’ve worked in outpatient settings, primarily with adults.
